‘Gaia, the Earth Goddess, is Alive!’ is a book that sets out to establish the unequivocal life-cycle connection between astrology and our planet Earth-Gaia. Written for the layman, it explores the distinct possibility (if not probability) that this planet of ours could actually be alive as a living sentient being! The book further explores, via book 2 (of this same volume), the amazing link between Western and Chinese zodiac Year signs.
About the Author
In his younger years Peter W. Whitewood began his philosophical direction in life by studying Chinese and Western Astrology. His interest for the next 14 years remained and he studied throughout this period but kept this interest at the level of a hobby. It was not until 1987, when Peter began his in-depth study of Western Astrology with a well know Adelaide astrologer in Australia, that this interest began to manifest more strongly, and he eventually began to pursue a career in this art form.
As an astrologer Peter has written a number of books, two of which are called ‘Gaia, the Earth Goddess, is Alive!’ and “Occidental Year Signs – The Missing Link in Astrology”. Both books having been in development for some 20 years. He has also produced five graphically informative textbooks on astrology, which became the official Australian Society of Astrologers (ASA) textbooks – now available and called ‘Teach Yourself Astrology, Visually’. Peter currently resides in Adelaide, South Australia, and with his business partner Monika, runs a publishing house.
